Busy Fall
There are often weeks or months, when we almost have nothing available of Jacek paintings. It is true – he paints a painting long, depending on complexity of project, size and , most importantly – the artist mood and inspiration. Sometimes Jacek says: ” I cannot finish it, I just lost heart for this composition, it is no longer appealing for me..” But after some time, he usually get back.
Anyway, since Jacek makes about 4-6 large canvas paintings per year we are in constant lack of good works, and this is the main reason we are not able to prepare a decent exhibition. And if Yerka works on commissioned works, he has o time to make other paintings. It is kind of a vicious circle, isin’t it ?
From time to time, Jacek makes a pastel work – just to refresh his mind and catch some new air. Pastels, as you can read here are kind of a preliminary work (acrylic painting being the completed piece), but they are no less charming.
Lately he made a Heating season pastel, based on an acrylic work under the same title. Unusually, the acrylic version of 2008 was small (38×46 cm) and the decent acrylic work in full measure has yet to be created.
However in last months we have received several paintings from private collectors, that will be offered for sale (direct and through auction).
Two of these – Walking lesson and Alarm clock seller – you can see already in our store.
The others (acrylic) will be put on sale on auction on 8 November, but you will soon see them on this site too.
Fantastic
this is amazing!
Are any of his paintings available in print format to buy ?
