Bodyduck
Once upon a time, the nearby pond was inhabited by a pair of crossbred ducks; we named them Kacperek and Melancia. Of course, they attempted to extort something edible, Melancia held back, and Kacperek loudly and categorically demanded ransom. It came to scuffles, Kacperek got agitated and pecked us a little; well, and became the Bodyduck. Probably from then on, he gained in Melancia’s eyes and looked as if he belonged in my almost biblical work.
